Bio:

Christian Szegedy is a research scientist at Google. He is working on designing efficient deep neural networks for image and video processing. His Inception architecture known for high quality at low computational cost and was used to produced state-of-the-art result for various computer vision tasks. Christian holds a PhD in applied and discrete mathematics and used to work as a research scientist at Cadence Research Labs in Berkeley, where he developed mathematical optimization algorithms for designing VLSI computer chips. His current research interests lie in the application of deep learning methods to machine perception problems.
