Malia Mason 

Wandering Minds

Malia Mason is an Assistant Professor at Columbia University in New York City. After receiving her doctorate from Dartmouth College in 2005, Professor Mason worked as a Post-doctoral fellow at Harvard Medical School before joining the Columbia Business School faculty in the fall of 2007. Using brain imaging (fMRI) and traditional experimental approaches, her research identifies strategies for managing attention, coping with indecision, and the pitfalls of multitasking.
