Martha has an amazing story of love of music and the determination to be seizure free by convincing a team of doctors to remove much of her right brain. Martha Curtis is a concert violinist who learned how to co-exist with epileptic seizures even from the stage. Curtis suffered from epilepsy all her life. She began playing violin at age 9 and managed to graduate as salutatorian from the Interlochen Arts Academy and graduate with honors from the Eastman School of Music. Although experiencing seizures regularly, she was able to perform as a professional musician with various orchestras. The other musicians, she says, knew what to do if she experienced a seizure.

CHASE MASTERSON - singer, performing artist

Chase was first recognized for her break-out role on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, one of the highest-rated internationally syndicated shows of all time. Her international fan base saw her rise from a four-line role in one episode to a five-year story arc, which prompted USA Networks to begin Chase's hosting career with a news-magazine talk show, Sci-Fi Entertainment. Chase was also tapped by Encore's STARZ On Demand to host their Only Here Channel.Known to millions of fans worldwide, Chase was named one of the world's "50 Sexiest Women" by Femme Fatales Magazine, and was voted the "Favorite Science Fiction Actress on Television" in TV Guide's online readers poll. Sci-Fi Universe Magazine honored her as one of the "Top 20 People to Watch in Hollywood," and AOL listed her as one of the "Ten Sexiest Aliens" in television history. Chase was named one of the "Hot Leading Ladies" of film by Film Fetish for her role in Yesterday Was a Lie.

SKY NELSON - song writer, singer, physicist

Sky has played piano since the age of 3, and has performed around the San Francisco Bay Area with various groups. He has studied at Berklee College of Music, UC Berkeley (BA Physics), and with numerous private teachers. Sky also experimented with a normal life as a high school physics teacher for 5 years. Sky has also published one paper and is composing further work on the connection between physics and spirituality. This work draws upon his diverse experiences, studying relativity, holography, the trigonometry of music, quantum mechanics, and the meditative practices of Eastern and Western spiritual traditions. The first paper, On the Holographic Nature of Light and its Measured Speed, can be found for free download at his web site. Described by one colleague as a “Musician’s musician”, Sky's diverse music history speaks volumes about his intentions as a songwriter and performer. Sky began learning piano at the tender age of 3. His first decade at the instrument focused on ear training with the classical Suzuki Piano Method, and even as his tastes changed to popular music, he maintained a passionate relationship with Beethoven. Yet he began lifelong affairs with the music of Dr. John, George Winston, and Keith Jarrett's ‘Koln Concert’. “Each time I learned something from one of my teachers, I had to quit them and spend a few years integrating what I had been shown,” says Sky of his experiences with his various private instructors. “I had four lessons with one guy in high school. In one lesson, he opened my eyes to playing a sort of stride with the left-hand… I remember that image to this day.”
